As a homeowner, there are several important tasks to tackle during the fall season before the colder months ahead. Here is your Fall Homeowner Checklist:

Gutter Maintenance: Inspect and clean gutters to prevent clogs and ice dams.

Weatherproofing: Seal gaps and cracks in doors and windows to keep warmth in and drafts out.

Heating System Service: Schedule a professional service for your heating system to ensure it’s efficient and ready for winter.

Outdoor Maintenance: Rake leaves, winterize your garden, and store outdoor furniture.

Fireplace Inspection: If you have a fireplace, have it inspected and cleaned if necessary to ensure safe and efficient operation.

Insulation Check: Check attic and wall insulation to ensure it’s adequate for energy efficiency.

Tree Trimming: Trim overhanging branches and remove dead trees to prevent damage during winter storms.

Fall Cleaning: Deep clean your home, including carpets, upholstery, and windows, to make your indoor space fresh and cozy for the season.

Decorate for Fall: Add some seasonal decor like pumpkins, wreaths, and cozy blankets to create a warm and inviting atmosphere in your home.

By following this checklist, you’ll ensure that your home is well-prepared and maintained for the fall season!
